Old World Monkeys

Old World monkeys are primates in the family Cercopithecidae. Twenty-four genera and 138 species are recognized, making it the largest primate family. Old World monkey genera include:

  2. Piliocolobus
    1. Red colobus (Piliocolobus kirkii)
  3. Nasalis
    1. Proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus)
  4. Semnopithecus
    1. Gray langurs (Semnopithecus entellus)

  6. Mandrillus
